I have decided to pierce my Tragus.
Mum: No, I won’t let you do that! Absolutely not!
Me: *quietly carries on researching needle sizes on the internet*
:)
If you don’t even know what SIZE you should be using, do you really think you have the skills or knowledge to pierce yourself? It’s not as easy as just jamming a needle through wherever you want, and then smoothly gliding some jewelry through. Do you have a way to sterilize your materials? Unless you have an autoclave, you don’t. Not to mention…do you know how difficult it will be to pierce your own tragus and follow through correctly with the jewelry? It’s a tight spot and an awkward angle. Stop being an ungrateful little brat and listen to your mother. She knows what she’s talking about on this one. If you absolutely must have it done, save yourself the embarrassment and save your mother the medical bills and talk to her about seeing a professional piercer.
